This semester I had a bit of a taste meltdown and fell into the same old pattern of addictive behavior... I spent nearly six weeks with "K-dollar sign-ha" on repeat on my iPod. It's not something that I'm proud of, but I still sneak a listen to Cannibal every now and again. Addiction is a powerful thing, people.
Speaking of addiction and Habits, I have found a new brand of heroin. I spent most of last summer/fall trying to ignore this band because everyone around here is just too darn proud to be able to tell you that they're "from" Provo. Admittedly, it's cool to see a "Mormon" band do well, and Animal was catchy (side note: is it merely a coincidence that this song also refers to Cannibalism? Does this say something about me, or is love just getting more ferocious these days?), but it was Love and Affection that Neon Trees reeled me in with. So, addiction conquered? Well, no.
But at least I'm not listening to Ke$ha.
just promise me you will avoid the hard stuff. and by that i mean bieber.
